The Conservatory & Tea

Part of the English DNA and Wedgwood’s heritage - the conservatory is a haven for social retreats or a sun lounge for growing delicate plants and flower displays. As a stepping stone between your home and garden it provides a natural light space for reflection in direct contact with the natural beauty of nature.

Josiah Wedgwood manufactured a range of large garden pots, chairs and columns which have been used in conservatories as well making dark coloured bricks for the Fruit wall for Mr Syeyd of Keele.

INTRODUCING THE WEDGWOOD TEA CONSERVATORY

We are very excited to announce the launch of the Wedgwood Tea Conservatory at this summer’s leading RHS Flower Shows. The design is inspired by the English conservatory and garden, as a place to relax and enjoy time with friends around tea and food. It will serve the Wonderlust tea collection, our latest Wedgwood Collection which has been inspired by the Grand Tour of the 19th century depicting tropical plants and exotic influences from around the world. A tea pairing menu for breakfast, lunch and tea has been created to enhance the multi-sensory tea tasting experience with the guidance of Wedgwood’s global tea curator Bernadine Tay.

Discover the New Wedgwood Tea Conservatory

The exclusive Wedgwood Tea Conservatory pop-ups will be available at this summer's leading RHS Flower Shows, as well as a pop-up installation at Peter Jones department store in Sloane Square London. A warm welcome!

The Show Exclusive

The Wedgwood Burlington Pots have been developed in collaboration with Laura Cavendish, Countess of Burlington and daughter in law of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. Lady Burlington was inspired by Wedgwood’s craftsmanship and rich heritage, including the family’s history with Wedgwood where in 1778 Josiah Wedgwood presented the Duchess of Devonshire with a set of pots. The coloured layers of Jasperware are spun in a mould which creates a marbled effect within the inside of the vessel...making each piece unique. SHOP NOW >>
